Secure Lab
<Intoruduction>
The SecureLab is a research laboratory at the University of Dong-A established in 1999 to support research and education in computer and network security. Research projects in the group focus on various aspects of network and computer security. In particular the group focuses on applications of computer forensics to real world computer crime.

1. Compute Forensics
Computer forensics is a branch of forensic science pertaining to legal evidence found in computers and digital storage mediums. The goal of computer forensics is to explain the current state of a digital artifact. The field of Computer Forensics also has sub branches within it such as Firewall Forensics, Database Forensics and Mobile Device Forensics.
2. RBAC
In computer systems security, RBAC(role-based access control) is an approach to restricting system access to authorized users. It is a newer alternative approach to mandatory access control (MAC) and discretionary access control (DAC). RBAC is sometimes referred to as role based security.

VLSI Design Automation Laboratory
<Introduction>
We are studying on optimization techniques for placement and routing for VLSI chip design. Mongrel, a hybrid placement tool designed and implemented by our group led by prof. Hur, has been used by Intel for developing major Intel CPU chips. Paritcularly, optimal interleaving technique has been proved very powerful for optimizing timing driven placement and routing.
