<Eligibility of Application>
1. All applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
1) A foreign student whose parents are not citizens of Korea.
2) Applicant has to complete at least 16 years of education (equivalent to elementary, middle and high school,
undergraduate) outside of Korea.
2. All applicants must have one of the following language tests cores: TOPIK level5, TOEFL 560, CBT 210,
iBT 83, TEPS 700, IELTS 6.5 or higher
3. Program Prerequisite (Eligibility):
1) Master's Program: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
2) Doctorate Program: Master's degree or equivalent
3) Combined Master's and Doctorate Program (type 1):
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (* Application is available during 1st selection period only.)
4) Combined Master's and Doctorate Program (type 2):
Application for this program is only available to students enrolled in a Master's program at Dong-A
University Graduate School.
Enrolled students who have completed 2nd semester (registered for 3rd or 4th semester) can apply for the same major. (Students enrolled in a Combined Bachelor's and Master's Program cannot apply for this program.) (* Application is available during 1st selection period only.)
<Admissions Criteria>
Admission is based on application requirements submitted (academic records, personal accomplishment, and study plan). All applicants must participate in an interview, so that Dong-A University can have an idea of each applicant's knowledge and personality. Applicants who are unable to attend an interview in Korea will participate in an interview by telecommunication, such as cellular phone, E-mail or Skype.
Application requirements and interviews are taken into consideration in granting admissions. Admissions decisions are made by the committee of admissions after the comprehensive evaluation of various aspects of the applicants.
<Application fee (non-refundable)>
1) Master's programs: KRW 50,000 or USD 50
2) Doctorate programs / Combined Master's and Doctorate programs: KRW 60,000 or USD 60

<Important Notices>
1) All required documents must be original. Documents must be translated into Korean or English and
notarized if they are not written in Koreans or English.
2) Submitted documents are not returned. Also, application fee is not refundable.
3) A copy of degree diploma and transcript must receive a stamp of consul.
4) Any required documents not submitted within the designated period of application will lead to an admission
failure.
5) Admissions will be canceled, if any false or counterfeit materials are found.
6) Application forms must be typed, not hand written.
7) In the event of an emergency on the day of your interview, please include your contact information on the
application form.
8) English name and birth date must be matched with those shown in your passport.

※ Scholarship will be awarded to the international students who maintain GPA over 85/100 each semester.
※ Applicant who has completed the secondary or higher education in countries where their official language is English or English is the mother tongue language will be interviewed to determine their scholarship
※ For those who are applying for Natural Science, Engineering, Arts or Sports without any certificate of language proficiency test, the scholarship will be determined through interviews among either scholarship C or D.
* For the case of applying only with official English exam score, permission from a dean from the applicant's desired department must be granted in advance. If the applicant's desired department does not provide lectures in English, the applicant must take Korean language course with his or her own payments of the tuitions for the Korean language course.
