1. Mission
The Department of Political Science (Graduate School) frees up intellectual minds from conventional and commonsensical political knowledge so that they can cultivate objective criticism and ability to choose political ideology on their own. In the midst of a fast-changing global order and the wave of reform and opening up, the goal of education in the Department of Political Science is to foster talented students who can become responsible citizens with sound democratic ideology and spirit, strong willingness to act and participate and the cool-headed judgment required in the fierce competition of our society. According to these goals, the key curriculum of the Department consists of historical review of political systems of different countries, understanding of modern and contemporary political ideology, international community environment and how to resolve various conflicts, political decision-making process and policy analysis.
