1. Mission
Based on the Dong-A University’s foundational philosophy of Hongikingan (Humanitarianism), the purpose of our department is to study profound academic theories and a wide range of application methods for the development of the architectural culture of mankind, and to cultivate talented professionals with great character, outstanding competencies, and leadership. In order to realize such educational goals, the GSD Department of Architectural Engineering has actively explored the theories and practices of modern architecture through active research activities and experiments, while training students to develop creativity and leadership throughout the entire field of architecture.

3. Faculty
The faculty consists of 6 full-time professors and 5 adjunct professors. All full-time faculty members hold doctoral degrees. The faculty members not only actively participate in architectural conferences, but also have close ties with governments, research institutes, industry and professional societies for education and research activities. Our professors have continued to publish excellent papers in domestic and foreign journals and conferences, actively writing in their major fields.
