Professor Wan-Seob Cho, DVM, PhD

Biographical Information
Wan-Seob Cho attended the Seoul National University obtaining a B.Sc. in Veterinary Medicine, M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Veterinary Pathology. He was a Scientific Officer in the Korea Food and Drug Administration (2002 - 2012) including leave for a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Edinburgh (2008 - 2011). He is employed as a Professor in the Graduate School of Dong-A University in Busan, Korea since 2012. He is a project leader for three projects in ISO TC229 WG3 (Environment, Health & Safety) since 2018. He has published over 90 peer-reviewed papers and several book chapters on toxicology. His current interests are the mechanism of toxicity of nanomaterials, including metal oxides and carbon nanomaterials, microplastics, and air pollution particles.
